Welcome to the Open Rail real time railway data pages.

Use the menu bar above to show details of the trains at a particular location.

In the location box, put a TIPLOC or a National Rail three character code or just a part of the location name. If more than one location matches you will be given a list to choose from.
Leave the date box blank to see today's trains. If you miss the year, this year will be assumed.
Then click one of the buttons:
gives a detailed list of all trains.
only shows freight trains.
provides a summary screen showing all trains.
provides a summary screen showing only passenger departures.

To find live information for a specific train, find it at a location using the pages described above, and then click on the train for more details.

Click on the button to access a number of more sophisticated database queries.
